Anna joined the practice in 2000 as a Veterinary Imaging Technician and has also taken on the role of ultrasonographer. Anna also assists the vets in any procedures that need an extra pair of hands. In her spare time (haha) she runs a small livery yard and has several horses of her own.
She is a keen competitor in both showing and dressage. She took on two of her current horses (that had lameness issues) via the practice and subsequently have been lucky enough to take both of them to ‘HOYs’ in 2010 and 2013.
Emma has been working in the equine department at Park since March 2010. Following a short break she has now returned to the department part-time after maternity leave. Leaving university with a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare she subsequently worked at the PDSA hospital in Bow where she qualified as a veterinary care assistant. Her previous experience with horses includes working at a busy livery yard and riding school. In addition to the husband and baby her house is also home to her dog, ‘spud’, and two rabbits that were all ‘rescues’. As well as an interest in photography and walking (mostly with dog and baby in tow!) she is currently studying for a master’s degree in Conservation Biology. When she gets any spare time she enjoys riding a friend’s horse who is also called ‘Spud’.

I live in St Albans with my husband and rescue cat Matilda. I completed a degree in Equine Sports Science from Nottingham Trent University in 2006 and have worked at a variety of competition and livery yards. I competed in show jumping when I was younger and I currently share a 17.2hh chestnut Belgium Warmblood called Bionka who despite being 19, keeps me on my toes!
When I have time, I enjoy walking and running around the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.
