Anna joined Park Vets in 2000 as a Veterinary Imaging Technician and has taken on the role of ultrasonographer. Anna also assists the vets in any procedures that need an extra pair of hands. In her spare time (haha) she runs a small livery yard and has several horses of her own.
Anna is a keen competitor in both dressage and showing and was lucky enough to take two of her horses, who she acquired through the practice due to lameness issues, to ‘HOYS’ in 2010 and 2013.
Emma has been working at Park Vets since March 2010. Following a short break and maternity leave, Emma returned to the practice part-time. Her degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, previous work at the PDSA hospital in Bow as a veterinary care assistant and time working at a busy livery yard and riding school make her outstandingly well prepared for her position at the practice.
Emma’s other part-time passion is photography and she runs her own photography company for parents and their little ones. Check out her talent here: https://www.elwoodgatephotography.co.uk
In addition to her lovely husband and two little ones, Emma also shares her house with her old dog, Spud, who loves to go out on walks. Emma has recently completed a master’s degree in Conservation Biology and loves to ride friend’s horses when she gets the opportunity.
Equine Office Administrator
I live in St Albans with my husband and rescue cat Matilda. I completed a degree in Equine Sports Science from Nottingham Trent University in 2006 and have worked at a variety of competition and livery yards. I competed in show jumping when I was younger and I currently share a 17.2hh chestnut Belgium Warmblood called Bionka who despite being 19, keeps me on my toes!
When I have time, I enjoy walking and running around the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.
